The two rivets are not symmetrical, they are identical. Spike's Crank Bros. should be mirror images of each other, with the bolt offset of one bolt opposite that of the other bolt (this doesn't just apply to zero offset and zero float bolts, which are rare). This manufacturer offset the lugs, but the offset is identical on both sides, not mirrored. As a result, one foot/boot will not come off in the same way as the other. This is a significant disadvantage, so I do not recommend these boots. Also: I was fooled by the title of the ad and thought that two pairs of spikes were coming. No, this is for a couple. Sorry, my words are not so clear. I have included photos of an old pair of boots and a new pair that were sent to me. The old pair have a different basic design, but the lug offset is standard and clearly visible.
