You will need a long girth when using this product on a large horse (16 arms or more).
This is a good product but I had to use my long dressage girth with it because it doesn't fit my horse with the one provided. He's tall, has over 16 arms and a large girth like most TBs. Otherwise, Surcingle is a very good product. It is easy to clean, stretchable and adjustable.
