Great Entry Infrared Thermometer

BLUF: Accurate infrared thermometer and easy to use. I give this product 4 stars because of the following pros and cons. Advantages: 1st prize. You can't beat $80 for this product. Yes, you can find cheaper IR thermometers, but they are not as accurate or as durable as Fluke products. These cheap Chinese fakes usually cost around $20, but they last about a year, and not so durable this year. Easy to use. Very comfortable.3. Black illuminated light. Ideal for seeing in the dark4. Laser so you can aim the thermometer5. The ability to read the temperature from different surfaces (including minus) 6. High quality. Very durable 7. Great Fluke8 warranty. Compact and lightweight9. Built-in auto shut-off to save battery if you forget to turn off your device. Cons: 1. The user manual is TERRIBLE and lacking. No words/words, filled with pictures instead. Stop trying to copy Apple's approach. When I buy a high-tech device, I want to be able to read a detailed specification and a long manual explaining every function.2. You need to manually adjust the thermometer's emissivity when reading data from different surfaces (e.g. getting the temperature from the water surface or your wall). This is due to the different reflection/refractive properties of different surfaces.

Pros

Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
