The picture quality is amazing, the software is extremely easy to use to edit your content and it comes with mini tutorials with tutorial videos on how to create amazing videos with special effects. Battery life is around 2-3 hours which I think could be a lot better but this is my first action cam so I can't compare it to any other action cam so honestly I don't know if it's any good is. bad or standard. The touchscreen doesn't respond as we would like, there is a slight lag in response. The reason I gave it 1 star is because it stopped working the first day of use, On the second charge of the battery after a few hours of use, it would not turn on or work. It didn't break or get wet, but that doesn't matter since it's a waterproof action cam. I contacted INSTA360 support via email and they responded very quickly but realized the unit was defective and wanted me to send it back to them so they could fix it and ship it back to me. Which I think could take 3 to 4 weeks considering they are based in China. Luckily I bought it through Revain and Revain immediately offered me a refund if I sent it back, which I did. Being a techie i decided to give it a second chance and buy it again, as it will not be the first time in my life that I have bought a device that turns out to be defective. that came with the factory. and usually the second one i get is just perfect so i hope it will be the same in this case.
