Bad guide. The trick is to get the USB ports working.

The display is fine, although the text is fuzzy, so I'm using settings of 150%. Otherwise good color and brightness; thin bezel and nice to look at, especially for the cheap price. The concise instructions could have been much clearer. To use the monitor in place of a laptop dock (i.e. use the four USB ports for the keyboard, laptop, and peripherals), you must connect the laptop to the monitor with BOTH an HDMI cable and a PC cable.
