A new purchase, so I cannot talk about the durability over time. However, I first connected it to my ATI graphics card via HDMI. The text was less than outstanding. I tried various options. I decided to buy 2 of these monitors to upgrade my old ones and didn't need anything fancy or expensive. 24" monitors feel fresher than 27" monitors which are way too big and strain my eyes. The picture isn't impressive but the 60 refresh rate is still decent at 1080 quality and should be fine for all standard use except maybe heavy gaming/video editing. Overall, I'd say these monitors are pretty high quality home office monitors while also being fairly inexpensive.

After a few months of use, I've decided to give this monitor 3 stars. I would sum it up as a good monitor for the price I paid. First, it's a 1080P monitor, so you wouldn't want to pay more than $200 for a 1080P monitor these days. Second, it's only 24 inches, not 27 inches, so there's one more thing to note. The brightness is not very high and there is no HDR. So if it's the regular price, it's not worth it. But for my business, the selling price is okay.

I received two of these monitors today. I really like her. The stand is good as the monitor can be easily raised and lowered. The only thing that took me a few minutes was trying to insert the desktop mount into the back of the monitor. It took me a little time to insert two pins into the slots. It just takes a few minutes of patience. When I did that, everything was fine!

The display is fine, although the text is fuzzy, so I'm using settings of 150%. Otherwise good color and brightness; thin bezel and nice to look at, especially for the cheap price. The concise instructions could have been much clearer. To use the monitor in place of a laptop dock (i.e. use the four USB ports for the keyboard, laptop, and peripherals), you must connect the laptop to the monitor with BOTH an HDMI cable and a PC cable.

I've been using this monitor for a little over a year - it helps a lot when it comes to WFH. Unfortunately I can't give a perfect rating as I fear mine may be defective. Everything is great BUT I can't get the volume control to work. Pushing the joystick left will decrease the volume, turning it right should increase the volume, BUT IT WILL NOT INCREASE! Luckily I have other ways to adjust the volume with my laptop as I have a monitor connected to my laptop via HMDI. Works great.

Is this the best monitor? Not at all, it's a very solid ips display with good color accuracy, has dp, hdmi and vga outputs (rare at this price!) 75hz refresh rate (so half decent for gaming too!) ). The monitor was delivered promptly, the packaging is well protected. When I looked online, there were no instructions on how to assemble it. Got it done in 10-15 minutes. The biggest downside, however, is the OSD with no prompts on how to access it, move the cursor, or change settings. Emailing Samsung didn't help as the monitor wasn't even listed as their product on their website. Still a good buy but not sure how to take advantage of the extra features for those in the know. There is nothing wrong with a monitor for business use, let alone gaming. It has a joystick on the back typical of Samsung monitors and TVs, narrow bezels and images are bright and crisp. I bought this particular monitor to replace my 24 inch ASUS monitor. Looks great, but I found it expensive. I was hoping it would come with built-in speakers, but unfortunately it didn't. For $200-$300, it makes a great second monitor. It is LED, has a frequency of 75Hz, can twist and turn. It has all the features you need as a second monitor. Compared to the $860 4k monitor I bought that only lasted 3 weeks, this monitor is great. The only downside I would point out is the lack of built-in audio and only one HDMI port, which is quite unfortunate as it can be used as a gaming monitor if it has an additional HDMI port.
