SAMSUNG S27R650FDN SR650 Series 27" IPS 1080p: My 2014 Mac mini doesn't support 4k, but it handles 1080p well. With that caveat, I went looking for the best 1080p display I could find. I'm very happy with this display. Very sharp but not pixelated. Has a "sharpness" setting that changes the transition between pixels. Colors are very bright and natural. I'm very comfortable. I've had several 27" displays, this is probably the best Picture quality. Can't speak for amplification, I only use it to view videos, photos and text and it works very well for that. I can buy a second one.
