The rotation function of this Samsung was perfect for my application. I wanted a second monitor that would be used primarily for "secondary" tasks while my main monitor is busy with gaming, video, or work that I'm really focused on. The problem was that I didn't really have room for a second monitor as the stand wobbled precariously on the edge of the table. Being able to tilt the monitor left and right meant I could actually rotate the stand to align with the side edge. my desk while keeping the angle of the monitor exactly the way I wanted it. Also, the monitor works as expected. No dead pixels, good packaging, quick installation. The default video settings also seem acceptable to me, I didn't have to fiddle with them at all. Just plug in and go! It's not the "best" monitor money can buy, but for the price, its specs and performance were solid.
