Is this the best monitor? Not at all, it's a very solid ips display with good color accuracy, has dp, hdmi and vga outputs (rare at this price!) 75hz refresh rate (so half decent for gaming too!) ). It's the perfect backup monitor, second screen, or entry-level monitor for exploring higher-level features. As mentioned, the extra 15Hz refresh rate makes a big difference, and the multiple output options allow it to fit into any setup. At $115 (what I paid when I bought it), no other monitor comes close to matching these features. If you can get it for less than 130, that's a bargain and a half.
