Works but could be better

Product seems to work. It took some time for the device to turn on. When I first made all the connections, I turned on the device and heard something like an alarm tone. The instructions say to quickly press the power button and turn it on. Not true. I pressed the button for 5 seconds then it turned on but only to quickly turn off again and after a few tries, errors and quits I tried again. But this time, I held the power button down for at least 20 seconds as it turned on and off in annoyance. The device has been successfully connected. I think he just needed to be woken up. I had to buy an extra cable to get to the battery. I have a Can on the Spyder and needed to mount it. check the nominal diameters of the speakers to ensure they will fit around the poles. The antenna is functional but needs to be lengthened for better reception. Additional grounding is not required. Just ground it to the battery negative cable with the negative (black) cable and the red cable connects to the positive terminal. Speakers aren't bad. But if you have a noisy Harley or similar, I recommend buying a more powerful unit. I would recommend it. Haven't tried bluetooth yet. Nice that the radio works. Even if you're a little techy, the instructions are good enough. To update. As soon as it rains, that's it. It'll never be right again. cover the controller. I also had to re-solder some connections. I ended up erasing the device.
