This kit is great. This is the best quality. There are complaints about the bit size, but there are several ways to build it. I use standard sized bits and a special tool from Sorby to make a groove - no glue. I've never had a problem with this set, although I've had problems with others. Go to youtube and check out how to make a pepper grinder - Bendan Stemp has an exceptional set of videos. Other distributors do this too. However, do not buy specialized Forstner bit sets. It's just an add-on sale. You can make a set using the standard 1 3/4, 1 1/2, 1 1/4, 1, and 7/8 bits that come in the standard set and are available for around $50. Use a drill for the slotted hole in the case and don't worry about the lengthening.
