[edit 5-11-2021] jide Tech customer service contacted me and they were very helpful. After trying some different video settings they suggested, I send them a video showing how the device keeps rebooting and the recordings can't be viewed for playback (except the latest one). They suggested using another app "Dericam" instead of CamHiPRo and it's really much more convenient, but it didn't solve the problem. They then sent me a second camera including a 128 GB SD card for comparison. I've been using this new set for a few days and I have to say it works great. This is customer service as it should be. Excellent! More about the camera itself: according to the original comment. I find the processing very solid. its metal body with a solid glass dome that looks good and feels durable. Operating the camera is quite easy (with the right app). and the picture quality is sharp and clear. The night vision is also good. I tested it at 50 feet in total darkness and it still worked. The settings are a little confusing, a little confusing for humanoid detection and "binding" signals. But the motion sensor works fine. It records 14-second snippets, which is actually enough to capture the event, and the recordings overlap when the event is longer. The optical zoom is a bit slow. and reduce viewing angles (from 5 degrees below horizontal to 30 degrees when zoomed in). However, you can preset different angles, scales and directions. I have yet to figure out if I can get the camera to automatically cycle between different settings over a period of time. So I upgraded it to 5 stars. Since the 2nd Camera actually works as it should (or better). And the customer service once put on was excellent. Highly recommended. [Original post] The overall build quality seems pretty solid. And once installed, the picture quality seems pretty good. So there are no complaints. night vision works. The audio is terrible. And useless. The SD card slot is very hard to find and even harder to get. You need pliers to insert an SD card. However, I found that the CamHipro app is not up to date. With some very nasty translation errors. Therefore, it is very difficult to understand what certain functions do or should do. My biggest problem is that it's impossible to play the recordings. Only the latest one will be played. But all old alarm recordings are not played back. So if you don't want to be constantly staring at this camera. This product is useless. I contacted their support team. But so far no answer.
