Update: I put one in the closet too and it works great and smells great. The company asked for a review because it would help their business. . Can't really comment on what they're made for, but they work great for what I bought them for. I hung the orange ones in the Christmas tree so the cats wouldn't like them. Worked. They smell very nice but I don't know how they will freshen up the room because I have the tree in a large open space in the middle of the house. They are good at absorbing additional essential oils to recharge. I don't know if they will ever reach saturation point, but so far so good. For full disclosure, I found an extra orange "sticker" and put it under the tree too, just to be safe, but these little boys worked on their own before I did.
