Review on 🛠️ Premium Occidental Leather 5047 Tape & Knife Holder - Durable and Versatile by Jim Polacek

I am renovating our house and have been looking for a tape measure holder for a long time. it's just over I thought I could deal with strapping it to my bag but after a week. Two jeans already show heavy signs of wear where I cut them. Also, my pencil makes holes in a small pocket. And in addition to going up and down the stairs, my pencil fell out more times than I care to remember. I looked around for one and nothing good really. I went to my local HD and they had a good basic holster but my 25ft Milwaukee band didn't fit at all. not even close. Maybe a 16 inch would fit. This is my favorite tape and while it was absurd I couldn't find anything suitable for the job. So I started looking for something better. I came across an Occidental 5047 holster. Seemed to be just the ticket. two pencil/pen holders, a clipless lanyard holder and a bonus for my knife. so i bought it. I have read that it will be tight and will take some time to break in. That's absolutely true! I've read tips that you should soak it in very warm water (not hot) and then stuff it with your tools. I did that to make it work perfectly. I soaked it enough that it definitely went soft. and then I put my tape measure down and then put some marks on it to give it leeway. Stand for pencils. did the same thing, stuck some sharpie markers in as far as possible, and in the knife holder compartment I just put my knife, but I pushed it all the way in. It looks like a bad science project for one day, but the end result is great. I am really looking forward to using it for a long time as it saves a lot of wear and tear on my pants and is definitely a durable product that I will use for a long time. now they let me see what else they have.
