Something is just wrong with the internal construction of this razor. The first lasted 2 years and stopped working. I assumed it was a fluke and ended up buying another one and accidentally bought two. The other was left as a reserve. Good choice as the new one broke after a few months. I opened the third one and it took about 6 months. Same problem every time, won't turn on. For some time it turned on after numerous button presses. Then it won't turn off until I charge it. Eventually it just stopped working and wouldn't turn on like the previous 2. I do NOT leave them charged for long periods of time or do anything with them other than shave my beard in the shower. When they work, they're amazing. The guards work great and offer many beard length options. It's so frustrating that they just aren't designed properly. I just ordered another brand which was Revain's choice. hope it lasts I would save your money and find something else until Remington fixes the root cause of the problem.
