Let me start off by saying that this space heater WORKS. It just won't work for medium to large spaces (especially if it's drafty).But for a bath room, small bedroom or very small basement it gets the job done. It's not going to get the room warm enough to make it hot, but will definitely counter cold down to 45 degrees (the temp which it was tested in my basement).It is primarily composed of plastic which is fine since it's pretty heavy overall. Operation is super simple with a single dial. During operation the plastic did not get hot and the heater did not give off any noticeable odors.I find the fact that this is a radiator rather than a fan blowing hot air to be a big plus from the perspective that you could put this in a stone fireplace, flue closed and possibly be able to heat the stone/brick up enough to get even more warmth. I have not tested this but in theory should work.For $60 I can recommend this heater. Pair this with a heated vest and you might even be able to keep your thermostat at 60 degrees this winter and save $$.Three stars due to it's smaller than expected size. I'll add a 4th star if it survives being used this winter.
