Yes, it's worth it!: Body repair tools
I bought this to prepare for car detail testing. I didn't want to start with a wool pad so I opted for something less abrasive. Don't get me wrong, this can cause damage, but not as close as a wool rug. I've used it with a few 3D Ones and it has worked well. It's easy to clean, but the hole in the center may cause cracks if it gets into a strange place (like the windshield sprayer on the hoods of vehicles).
