Review on 🚲 Folding Bicycle Display Stand - M-Wave's Space-Saving Solution by Andrew Spainhour

Great stand for small repairs and tweaks

I would like to point out that I ordered this a few months ago when it was on sale for $15.49 and am writing this review with that price in mind. I don't know if I would pay almost $25 for it like it's worth it now. Other than that, it's a really nice little stand that you can use to fix the bike up a bit - adjust the rear wheel, adjust both derailleurs, adjust the rear brakes. Is not this enough? I can't stand my bike on the ground because of the handlebar accessories (it can get damaged) and it's too much work to take them all off for an adjustment and I didn't want to spend more than $100 on a real fix since I'm standing there I only need it for odd jobs on our two family bikes. Unfortunately the plastic lug nut retainers are plastic so not very strong but for now they fit me. I've read complaints that this stand doesn't allow full control of the rear derailleur, but I have no problem with it on my 26" mountain bike with a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur - I can easily switch between all 7 speeds and the stand does the job Not. Don't touch any parts of the derailleur Yes, this stand doesn't let you do anything on the front wheel, but again, it makes general maintenance of the bike that much easier, and for the $15 I paid I didn't expect anything more.

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Security
