Review on 🔽 KitchenAid 1-Piece Pouring Shield: Enhancing Efficiency and Spillage Control by Ryan Fitch

Don't make the mistake of thinking it will match your model, especially if you expect to be using the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. When I received it it seemed to "sort of" fit - you were able to get a reasonable fit on our K45 stand mixer after some fiddling to ensure the lip and lugs are positioned correctly on the rim of the bowl to fit it to hold in place, plus a little downward pressure. After a normal top shelf rinse, there was absolutely no way to put it on the bowl - pushing, twisting etc wasn't enough - it just pops out. We'll try to reshape it by putting it in hot water and then adjusting it before cooling, but I doubt it'll ever fit well. After getting a few "refurbished" items from Revain, we eat $20 rather than have someone discover they just don't fit, but we have to admit we're very disappointed with the quality.
