For drywall only. (Read Tips)

These anchors are great. The screws that come with it are excellent. I think a lot of negative reviews can be misleading. These anchors are for drywall only. If you try them on a tree or they hit a hairpin, they will break. They are not designed for anything other than drywall. I think someone also said that the screws don't fit, but that's not true either. The screws fit perfectly, you just can't tighten them by hand. You need to use a screwdriver and be a bit strong. The screws hold tighter. I used anchors to hang a large nail polish shelf. Item weighs over 50 pounds including nail polish. I originally wanted 4 anchors. But I messed up the bottom 2. One hit the bolt I checked and the top one ran fine but when I hit the bolt the second time it broke. And the one below it was the first thing I did and I accidentally pierced through too quickly and it went right through the drywall and I heard it fall into the wall. So now I have a 50 pound shelf hanging on my wall with just two anchors and they're not going anywhere. Tips: 1. Check the cleats. If you meet one, you won't have a good time.2. When using an electric drill, be careful and slow. These are strong anchors against drywall. They bite into this drywall as easily as they poke a hole in a piece of bread. Don't use them on anything other than drywall. These are drywall anchors.4. Accidents happen. have putty on hand.
