They look very nice when you take them out, but after a trip to the dishwasher they lose a little (?). I won't be returning them as these types of slicers have a limited lifespan anyway, but you can't use them for parties after this wash. Haven't tried hand washing - if you get the same results but just wanted to get this across - THIS IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL - it's a metal pot with a washable coating. Okay I didn't explain the picture but for those who need it ---- what's on the right is what you get in the box. The one on the left after 1 rinse in the dishwasher - and it was on a high shelf with glasses.
