I bought this to charge a very small Lithium (LiFePO4) battery pack, around 3Ah. I gave this charger 3 stars. I hesitated between a two and a three, but since it charges the battery properly I gave it a three. Why now only three stars and not more. The device gets too hot when charging such a small battery. By too hot I mean over 130 degrees Fahrenheit when the ambient temperature is around 70 degrees. I tested with a digital laser gun. This tells me that a lot of energy is wasted and the device will not work for very long. It's designed to charge batteries up to 65Ah, so the 3Ah battery shouldn't get hot at all as it takes so little time to charge. I like it except for the heating issue.
