Review on Logitech G G600 MMO Gaming Mouse, Black by Mateusz Weber ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

I use for graphics packages. I have tried many expensive mice before in combination with various mouse pads. Perhaps this one is not the most convenient, but I hope for the quality of the buttons. Because tired of soldering them or constantly spending money on new mice. It is felt that both the mouse itself and the software were seriously thought about. But it is also clear that it turned out to be a kind of compromise in an effort to please everyone and hit the performance characteristics on paper. I got a copy, newer, which is being reflashed. There are those who can't do it. Software inspires, no, no, not like that: the software is very, very impressive. You can choose whether the mouse will use the profile from the internal memory, or will choose according to the program currently running. Auto-detection is very correct. Each profile can have up to 3 subprofiles. And each subprofile can have more options with pressing G-Shift. For each profile, you can choose how many levels of sensor sensitivity will be: from 2 to 4 for memory from the mouse itself, and up to 5 with software profiles. Which of these levels will be enabled by default, and which one when you press Shift DPI. Bonus: the dpi change is displayed on the G13 screen. You can adjust the backlight color and flashing frequency, or set the backlight cycle to change. With continuous operation of the backlight, the side keys heat up quite significantly: it can be pleasant in the cold, or interfere in the heat,-) The macros themselves are easily dragged by the cursor to the desired button, as in G13 (with a software profile), when using the memory from the mouse itself , for some reason - no. Unlike some other mice, vertical-horizontal sliding is equally smooth. I am very demanding and sensitive to this moment. Mat Razer Speed Edition. I also set up and get used to the grip, remember the assigned commands. It is very convenient to scale in graphics packages, move along the time line from marker to marker. Tactile pressing is very pleasant. And the correct sound of operation. I really hope for the declared resource of the buttons.

Pros
  • 1. Pleasant workmanship materials; 2. Pleasant pressing sensations; 3. Good wire; 4. The shape, although unusual, but the weight distribution is balanced; 5. Pleasant sliding on a good rug; 6. Very accurate sensor and it is correctly located in the center of the base; 7. Many buttons, in particular, G-shift - such a "mouse" analogue of shift on a regular keyboard; 8. A good rubberized wheel, it is not wide, but right-left clicks, middle clicks are very clear; 9. Software; 10. The declared resource of the main buttons is up to 20 million clicks: I want to sincerely believe; 11. Cute backlight; 12. Friendly with the G13 keyboard (possibly with other programmable blocks with screens from the same manufacturer)
Cons
  • 1. Form - it is not entirely clear: it is not a grip like a small mouse, which is clamped with 2 fingers, it does not completely fill the palm; maybe I’m still getting used to it: not to say that it’s convenient, but also not to say that the palm gets tired quickly, but for now I often have to change my grip, trying to press this or that button; 2. Number of buttons: in pursuit of pleasing everyone, perhaps the manufacturer overdid it, half the side buttons would be enough for me, especially given the G-Shift function, but it would be more convenient if these buttons were better ergonomically spaced, although unnecessary buttons can simply not be use; 3. G7-8 buttons are not backlit; 4. The G-shift button is sometimes perceived as the right button, although no one bothers to reprogram it; 5. Or until you figured out how, or you can not make a macro in combination with pressing the mouse buttons, or program pressing any of the mouse buttons with a certain interval . 6. There is a certain software glitch: when using profiles that are not loaded from the internal memory, but which are self-activated when a certain program / game is launched, if you uncheck / click the Enhance Pointer Precision checkbox, the sensor starts to behave inadequately, if this function is needed, then you need to go to the control win panel and there also respectively activate / deactivate this option, reboot. Version 8.51.5 win7 64bit.
