This tool was useful for making a subwoofer enclosure. I've actually made a subwoofer enclosure without the 'proper' tools in the past and, as you'd expect, the finish has suffered. The box was not stable, there was a deflection. I vowed to do it right next time. The Mecurate tool was perfect for aligning the sides and the inner brace which had to go corner to corner at a 45 degree angle. The white lettering contrasts well with the black aluminum and is easy to read even in bright sunlight. Now my son uses it to help with his 3D printing projects, I should have gotten it sooner.
