Review on Peugeot Pontarlier Acrylic Combo Pepper Mill and Salt Shaker: 6-Inch Versatile Seasoning Set by Alonzo Weaver

The market for salt and pepper shakers is very limited. Most of them are acrylic and not all are as attractive and effective. When I first got this I really didn't like it. Felt like a large piece of square glass in my hand. I used to have an oxo combo but after a year it became useless. I chose it because it is made in France and Peugeot has a good reputation. I also ordered a Peugeot Oslo station wagon and I didn't like it. So I think I'll keep it and pray it doesn't break in a year. I haven't had any luck with combi shaker coffee grinders. But I prefer them as there is less mess on the dining table and my husband prefers table salt over ground sea salt. Also, Revain, the packaging for this product should have more padding. I heard the UPS guy throw it at me down the stairs and I heard a loud clang. When I opened it there were 2 small chips so I'm getting replacements for them. The product was already in a thin plastic bag. But Revain bubble wrap is so thin! I know it's acrylic and practically unbreakable, but it has two small chips on it. Bad packaging. You know, these delivery men don't care what's in those packages.
