I lost my 10 year old remote and thought it was worth thirteen dollars to replace. It seems that the new smart TV controllers are not compatible with some older TVs, so make sure your model number is clearly listed in the description. It has a lot of knobs and controls for devices I don't even own. I mostly just use the power button as my audio system and TV box will do the rest. But the features of a traditional TV work just fine when needed. One small downside: The IR beam is a bit weaker or narrower than the original, so it needs a bit more accuracy from my position (about 18 feet). Pro: The silly name "VINABTY" doesn't appear on it.
