Initially I tried many iterations of connecting the gateway to my router via the Govee Home app. I watched the video and carefully followed the written instructions. It wasn't until I restarted my iPhone that I was successful. I think restarting the phone should be a mandatory part of the process. I think the videos and written instructions are a bit lacking. The sensors work well and generate drip and standing water alerts, but I turned the beeper off (would that save battery power?) because I use it to monitor the property when nobody is inside. The gateway reconnects to the WiFi after the gateway is powered off. This is an important feature. I haven't tried turning off the router yet.
