I chose a Goscien vacuum sealer because I don't go to the store very often. As a result, I shop more groceries so I don't have to leave as often. I found myself throwing food away. The vacuum sealer was my salvation. It is lightweight and easy to store, which is very important for our small kitchen. It comes with a starter kit with two bags of different sizes. I found this help complete because I had never used one of these before and didn't know how big the bag needed to be. I really like how it has a built in cutter. Another feature I really like about this particular product is that it has a vacuum tube for sealing the canned food. There are different functions. It takes 20-30 seconds to seal the package. The vacuum sealer can seal both dry and wet products. So far I have cooked many dishes for which it is perfect! I've used it for veggies, cured meats, marinating raw meats, and freezing leftovers. I recommend this to anyone who is just starting to use a vacuum sealer because it is very easy to use.
