Time for a reality check

So everyone, let's start the reality check. Without shipping, these planes cost about 20-25 cents each. The point is, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a great hobby plane for your kids etc. then be prepared to spend $4-$7 each. That being said, I bought them for my Cub Scout Den. We worked on flight, aerodynamics and the four forces involved in flight (thrust/drag, lift/gravity). After the "lesson" I gave the planes to the Boy Scouts, had them assemble the planes, and then had a competition to see who could fly the furthest. The scouts loved this activity, they really learned something, and it cost me less than $8 total (I bought 24 planes).

Pros
  • Great for me
