Have fun with flying toys

These things aren't durable or strong and can break during assembly if you're not careful what you're doing. However, they all arrived in perfect condition and are exactly the toys we remember from childhood. The next generation of kids enjoyed playing with them during our family airshow. Big kids will love seeing how far they can make them fly!

Not so great. Best Aircraft Kits

Remember those balsa planes we bought for a quarter? They went together easily and flew damn well. Well, these are not like that at all. My 8 year old granddaughter couldn't put it together without breaking it. It was difficult for me myself. They don't slide at all. Most often the spiral is left or right and crashes. We made half the package and threw away the rest. I gave them two stars because they had a wide range of aircraft types.

Grandkids love them! great value They fly great

Bought this for my two grandkids aged 4 and 9 so they can receive a package from their grandmother. How nice! You love them and they will last a long time because there are so many of them. So they take them out from time to time and play with them. They work very well. They fly very well and you can make them do tricks by adjusting the flaps. Great gifts for parties. But that's exactly why it's perfect for my grandchildren. Highly recommended. Very important !

Good glider set - kids over 9 can assemble without adults

I bought them for summer camp where I was studying where they learned about air movement. It was a fun way for them to apply what they had learned. I wanted something inexpensive for every student and it fit the bill. It's foam so I didn't expect the plane to be of the highest quality. I wish the foam was a little heavier as some kids would flex the wings when trying to deploy them and it would affect their ability to fly. I have found that children as young as 9 and 10 can assemble it with…

Time for a reality check

So everyone, let's start the reality check. Without shipping, these planes cost about 20-25 cents each. The point is, you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a great hobby plane for your kids etc. then be prepared to spend $4-$7 each. That being said, I bought them for my Cub Scout Den. We worked on flight, aerodynamics and the four forces involved in flight (thrust/drag, lift/gravity). After the "lesson" I gave the planes to the Boy Scouts, had them assemble the planes, and then had a

Hooray for cheap entertainment!

Yes, they're cheap, made of styrofoam and don't last forever. They might not even last all day but the kids loved them. I got my cousin's kids all things airplane related for Christmas and decided to buy them so I could add a few to each package. Even after opening up all their fancy electronics and figurines, they ended up playing with them outside for about an hour. The adults gathered up the rest and we distributed them all around the house, making for a few hours of fun for everyone. All…
