. I have now installed 4 of these fans and none have ever had any problems. A very good budget fan, comparable to fans that cost twice as much in big stores. Ideal for bedrooms where you don't need anything nice. Benefits1. This is a very simple fan. It comes with everything you need for a fan, and nothing they're trying to sell you in a big store is going to throw away anyway. 2. Construction is solid3. The fan is very quiet 4. The fan was easy to install and the instructions are easy to follow. That's not the case with every fan I've installed, so here's a huge plus. This is possible by connecting this fan with a 14/3 or 12/3 wire to use the 3rd wire to install the speed switch on the wall. However, I did not do this. The ceiling mount provides enough space to stow all cables and nuts. That alone is enough to make me buy this fan again, as some fans have to be stuffed with everything.7. My box had extra screws and such in case you lose things. Cons 1. As a budget fan, you may see some mounting screws. Some of the more expensive fans from the big department stores can hide them better.
