This machine was installed just over a year ago. Works like a champ! I just changed the filters for the first time and they were pretty clean and in good condition. Took longer than expected. We have well water, so the sediment filter removes all particles. Water tastes better than bottled water. Shower heads no longer clog. I built a copper manifold with bypass valves and inlet and outlet gauges to control the pressure drop. Entirely 1 inch copper. There was never a single drop in pressure, even before I changed the filters for the first time. It is a very good design and the price is great too. Place a sheet of plywood on the wall next to my water softener loop. and everything mounted and then sanded in front of the water softener. An easy task for a homeowner or plumber. You can save some money by using PEX instead of copper, your choice.
