Good but not the best projection screens

I did a lot of research before purchasing this 110 inch screen and wanted to share my feedback. I paid about 70€ more than the comparable "cheaper" version because I wanted something high quality. For home use I would describe the device as decent quality. usage, but it is not suitable for commercial use where the screen is used frequently. If used in a school or church, expect problems over time. 1) The metal body of the screen has been bulged outwards in the middle. The shipping box was in good condition so I believe it was creased before it left the factory. I've attached a picture of the curve on the round case. I will come back but it will still be seen. The screen is made to be looked at, so there will be a slight callus in the eye. The last photo shows a bend against the white screen. 2) Went specifically with this model due to a height of 9'10". The height is impressive and you will need a stepladder or similar to fully open the screen. I haven't seen other screens with this height. Any wind and it becomes a sail. I would not attempt to use this outdoors if there is no wind 3) There was no hanging hook in my screen as shown in the graphic.(Correction/Edit: The hanging hook is actually included. He is inserted into the top jamb but I didn't see it pops out.) Even when fully open the last leg of the screen is black material so make sure you need the 16x9 or 16x10 format just through Weight in place no clips I was expecting a sturdier stand I was expecting something similar to what a DJ uses for speakers Although the stand is solid on day one I'm m I'm not sure if it will stand up to heavy use. The screen does not detach from the tripod. Even if you're careful, due to the size of the screen, the tripod takes a bit of abuse every time the screen is set up and taken down. 4) High quality screen material. When open, the screen curves inward at the outer edges, but the curves are even and not distracting. The documentation on the box states that these curves will disappear over time, but after opening for a day, the curves are still there. In general, I give the screen itself a five. Soft material, strong tension, bright and uniform ultra-white color, etc. 5) Before purchasing, I found that there was no screen protector or case after purchase. I was hoping to reuse the box, but that's not really an option. I also considered using a piece of PVC pipe with end caps, but due to the size of the screen grip, it would have to be a 6" or 8" diameter piece of PVC, which would have been expensive and heavy. I'm considering asking the seamstress to sew a cloth bag to protect the screen from scratches during transport.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
