Review on Cuisinart PSC-650 Stainless Steel 6.5-Qt Programmable Slow Cooker by Brandon Frogge

Too many design flaws

I really wanted this multi-cooker to be the ONLY one. It got to the point that I returned the first defective oven for another. Two brand new multicookers with defects straight out of the box, never used. Both returned. My first stove had a sharp blister on the bottom of the ceramic pan. I know that over time it will crack and expose the material underneath the glazed surface of the pot. My second multi cooker lid that I bought didn't fit properly. I added photos. If you put the lid on the pot perfectly, it can fit well. But any pressure creates a hole on one side of the top edge, which can result in excessive moisture loss and food scorching or drying out. The rim of my pot was uneven so the lid couldn't sit straight on it. It slid sideways, making a permanent opening on one side. For €100 that shouldn't happen. The lid should fit perfectly. If Cuisinart corrected this design flaw, it would be a great slow cooker. I'm surprised Cuisinart is actually selling this product as is.
