Unfortunately this didn't work for me but I have no reason to believe this is an unreliable and quality article. I bought it for *very* small cat pills. Often the pill flew back when I first tried to crush it. Also, I could see the medicine getting stuck and then building up in all the combs and even the pestle. Trying to take out all the meds and tidying them up afterwards was annoying at best, plus I wasn't sure how many pills were delivered each time. I suppose this would be ideal for small items that don't need to be ground into such a fine powder. This is a good article that I will definitely keep for condiments and the like.
