I bought this with my Brother SE 400, the colors match almost perfectly. 817 has a different name than Brother's color chart but the same number which is easy to miss. The only missing color is pumpkin, which is easy to miss when choosing orange or tangerine. None of the threads have broken due to the fault of the thread itself. They were originally intended to test the waters of my new machine, but once I found they were perfect for the color chart I figured at the price I'd just keep using them and got a 60 spool from Walmart For this, rack the colors listed in the brothers' chart, except white, in a shelf, and white and complementary colors in a drawer with regular yarn.
