High quality thread for machine embroidery and a good price.

As others have said, this is a beautiful thread that matches the Brother SE400's color scheme. Use a piece of tape to keep the color names/numbers from tearing off. It's a bit difficult to start a thread. We haven't had a single break (impressive as it's a very thin thread) and we're glad we have the big spools because it's so much fun! By the way, after a long search I came across Sew Art, an amazing, relatively inexpensive software that allows you to take pictures and turn them into Brother…

the colors are almost perfect. 817 has a different name than .

I bought this with my Brother SE 400, the colors match almost perfectly. 817 has a different name than Brother's color chart but the same number which is easy to miss. The only missing color is pumpkin, which is easy to miss when choosing orange or tangerine. None of the threads have broken due to the fault of the thread itself. They were originally intended to test the waters of my new machine, but once I found they were perfect for the color chart I figured at the price I'd just keep using…

A nice thread, maybe better for hand embroidery or on a non-Brother machine?

The thread is beautiful, the colors are excellent, the shine is fantastic. I think the price is good for the value of the filament you get. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had issues with it breaking. When the spool is inserted into the machine, it will break the thread as it starts to accelerate. I lowered the speed (it was set to the default speed) and it still broke when the machine started running faster. I finally solved the problem by using a cone thread holder
