Review on 🔋 Schumacher SC1281: Advanced Smart Battery Charger with Engine Starter, Boost Maintainer, Desulfator, and Diagnostic Testing - 100 Amp, 30 Amp, 6V/12V by Kevin Johnson

I attached the device to the Optima Red Top battery in my Jeep. The display showed 50% charge and started charging up to 62%. It stayed at 62% for over an hour. I turned it off, unplugged it, plugged it back in and it showed 100% charge. I then turned off the unit, unplugged it and plugged it back in and it showed 62 again and then charged to 68% and then stopped at that percentage. My blood glucose meter indicated the battery was charged to 14 volts and was over full, even though the display indicated it wasn't. I believe if I leave it overnight it would destroy the battery. The battery life on the display was 12.5 but my meter showed almost 14. I am very disappointed in the lack of quality that Schumacher has now. Judging by other reviews I'm not alone. When I asked to return the battery, Revane said I needed to deal with the manufacturer, so I called twice and left messages twice but still haven't gotten a response from them. Shows a lack of quality control and lousy customer service. Buyer Warning.
