What good is a battery operated crank if the on/off switch is only 4 inches from the bottom of the crank. I don't want to climb stairs every time I need to turn the star on or off when it's at the top of my 8ft Christmas tree. A long green cord made it possible to turn the light on and off without having to climb the stairs!
