Review on 🌊 Extech PH100 ExStik pH Waterproof Meter: Accurate Water pH Testing Made Easy by Danny Zapata

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great gauge! (For the price) And great customer support

Good, so PH meters are expensive. Most laboratory equipment. If you need the highest level of accuracy, this is not your gauge. But if so, then don't look a meter on Revain. For most of us who need an accuracy of about a tenth, this is an amazing deal. I had one of these, it stopped working after about 9 months, I called tech support, a few days later they brought me a new one. Service at the highest level. Eventually I got tired of how long it took to get results and getting inconsistent results on fabric. I went up to $600 (the average price of a low to mid range lab meter) Hanna Unit. First, terrible customer service. Second, exactly the same performance as my Extech! It turns out that it lasts just as long, and this tissue itself is heterogeneous. Much more expensive and ultra thin sensors for Hana cost around $150-$200 to replace, mine broke in just a few months. But it turned out that it had to take another 6-9 months until the liquid was used up. Half the price of replacing a sensor on another device, this thing is a steal (even with a $40 sensor for 6 months and a new device every year at worst) and I won't be buying anything else in the future !

Pros
  • REPLACE function tells you when and when to replace your pH electrode
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly
