In stock I have found that this aftermarket gas door latch does not actually grip or hold the gas door closed. When driving briskly on the road, the air pressure from below actually "floated" the gas flap open while driving. I disassembled the latch and widened the groove where the set screw/latch pin goes to prevent the latch from popping out and this allowed it to protrude a few millimeters more. The item now works as intended. I used a small windmill for the modification, but this could be done in other ways with a little creativity and abstract thinking.
