Doesn't recognize my 6 V battery (solved / updated 18Mar2019)

The charger works fine with my 12 V batteries. But it doesn't recognize my 6 volt batteries. The indicator light on the plug-in shows "12 V" even when my 6 volt is attached. I can't change this with the "select" button. So after a few minutes of charging, the indicator shows a fault (blinking red).EDIT: problem solved, thanks to response from manufacturer.
