This ribbon is cute!
The real hallmark of a good tubeless setup is that the tape is breathable without any type of sealant. I have used this tape with my 3 year old DT Swiss M1700 and new Maxxis Forecaster/Recon. The tape did the trick, the tire held air for 2 weeks without sealant (I was away for spring break and didn't want to add sealant until I got home and could drive). Just make sure the rim is clean and apply the tape carefully and slowly, wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove the bubbles and you're done.
