Review on πŸ’» Enhance Efficiency with StarTech.com Under Desk CPU Mount - Adjustable, Heavy-Duty Computer Tower Mounting Bracket by Erik Haynes

False advertising - Wrong dimensions - I can't use it

More than once the product page has stated that it is a 10.09 inch rail. Nice, I think that's actually the main reason I bought this mount and not the other options. Other rails are too long to fit under my desk without brackets. , but this one is short enough to fit under my desk as it doesn't hit the crossbar support 16 inches from the front edge. At least that's what I was told, even with a very precise 4 digit number. To tell the truth, this track is longer than the others, almost double the advertised length. So that's $100 less if I don't get a refund. But it still takes a week and I have to send a refund (if I get one), unnecessary exposure amid a pandemic. I can't be the first to let you know about this. Or maybe yes, and the sales just aren't that great. This would be less of an issue if it came with fold-out arms like other really long mounts do. It's far from ideal and I've specifically tried to avoid it, but I'd use them at least for now to be able to mount my machine in place of a hamstring and use them until I find another mount that suits my needs. I just hope the next brand does a better job of promoting the correct dimensions for their gear.

Pros
  • MAXIMUM WORKSPACE: Place the PC case under the table and above the floor to free up space. The under-desk CPU mount is ideal for placing a CPU under a desk for sitting or standing work.
