
Being able to turn off the power without constantly tugging on the Type-C connector is priceless. I don't know how your pis port will hold up without some kind of mod or something. I know there are better ones out there with uninterruptible power supplies or something, but it's awesome IMHO. I, too, was wiggling and unhooking the mini-HDMI connector by constantly tugging on the Type-C connector next to it. I was fine with leaving the Pi plugged in from time to time, but when it's off and a bunch of people are using it this way, we're just wasting tons of power in a stupid way, and you risk wiping your SD by You do this constantly unplug and unplug. Definitely get something like this! I have 2 in a pack.
