Sorry my Mac didn't read my SSD with this adapter. The 2242 size SSD fits in with almost some flexibility, which in turn can make your connection unstable; Make sure the mounting ring for this type is not fully tightened or your SSD adapter will bend like crazy. Regardless, after a horrible Sunday night, my MacBook went from 256GB to 1TB thanks to this guy. Therefore, if you have problems, be sure to check the position of the SSD in the adapter!
