I left my garage door opener inside the other day and forgot it was on my front door. It's time to test it and see if it stops me from breaking into my own house. So I opened the bolt and now it was the only thing stopping me from entering my house. I was able to open the door, I didn't want to damage my door or draw the attention of the neighbors. So I started pressing my weight against the door. It lasted. Then I did about three hip and wall checks! I was in my house. Didn't use as much force as you would use a tie to tie up a crowded trunk. Upon inspection, the little knob that lets you select the height doesn't slide out far enough to make the product useful. At the slightest pressure, this part bends, and then the whole thing collapses, rendering it unusable. If this piece comes out another 1/4 inch then it will probably work as it should. It's good for peace of mind. Sort of, but it won't stop an intruder. will be the next part to break once they fix the metal height switch. Don't they check these things?
