Thermwell Y3750: 🔧 Superior 37-Inch Replacement Aluminum Solution Review

Delivery was almost immediate, good price and an exact replacement for our doors which I could not find in hardware stores.

Y 1/8" finished size so it fits Larson storm doors. Some doors require a 1/4" Y-Nut. I took a chance and got lucky! It perfectly replaced a torn dry seal.

It's my fault for not checking the size properly, but a half inch is the overall depth of the divider, not the depth of the raised edge. Too small and when I called the company they were not helpful at all. I do not recommend.

I would have preferred 3/4" but couldn't find it anywhere. the entire bottom edge, defeating the purpose of replacing the gasket in the first place.

This was my first replacement for one of these seals. After removing the old one most likely for the first time, this band became a mix of Y and T but leaned towards Y so I went with this one. Sliding through the channel was a bit tricky at first so I brushed it with some dishwater and it went in fine. This is not sawn timber. So I assume the measurements are correct. An advertised 1/2" wide rubber strip must be 1/2" wide; not 7/16". I now have a 1/8 inch gap under the weatherstrip across the full width of my door. If specific sizes are important to you like they are to me, don't buy! Hope that helps!

The product was a perfect replacement for my storm door. The product was longer than I needed but was easily trimmed with household scissors to fit perfectly. I flattened the product and let it sit for a while before installing as the item was wrapped in its shipping box. Excellent replacement, I recommend waiting for the coming summer heat.

As with all online shopping, you never know until you buy it. Doors for ingress of drafts and bugs. An extra 16 inches would have made a difference, but if I hadn't raised the threshold it would have been a waste of money. old was.
