Review on Thermwell Y3750: 🔧 Superior 37-Inch Replacement Aluminum Solution by Rashan Jimenez

This was my first replacement for one of these seals. After removing the old one most likely for the first time, this band became a mix of Y and T but leaned towards Y so I went with this one. Sliding through the channel was a bit tricky at first so I brushed it with some dishwater and it went in fine. Since the top was a bit thick, she just took off some rubber that went through the brass channel. However, there are no problems. This storm door lifts just a little on the hinge side due to either a very slight assembly error or change over time. Unfortunately, little light comes through from below on this side. If it were perfectly straight, this strip would just sit at the sill. I think a slightly wider design would be safer for more doors. To me, this stripe is more for the competitive aesthetic and keeping critters away, so hopefully that's enough.
