Bought these on a recommendation to cut light cardboard and card stock for some hobby projects. Wasn't too sure ahead of time. I would say that the blades are very sharp but not quite as sharp as a brand new X-acto blade. On the other hand, they seem to stand up to cutting cardstock (notoriously hard on blades) better than the X-acto blades. So if you need a really sharp edge, use the #11s, but otherwise these work very well. The handle doesn't look very ergonomic, but for light hobby-style cutting duties it works surprisingly well. The little snapper thing that you need to snap off new blades can be a but tricky to get off the first time (it is on the end of the handle) but I have had no issues snapping off old blades cleanly. And, of course, you get a whole bunch of blades at a very attractive price.
